So yes, the photos aren’t the best quality, but the colour combinations are! The Part 1 was quite well received by the readers (woohoo) and here’s part 2.
We’re starting with a colour combination that really caught our eye because of it’s freshness. Not only because of the kind of colours used, but also because of the rarity with which they are used.
A sunshine lehenga below.
Pink and blue are cmmonly used together, but these shades aren’t your usual ones.
Lime green lehenga paired with a yellow(ish) blouse/choli.
The last few years, blue has been a rarity in Indian clothing. This blue on blue lehenga reminded us why we need to wear the colour more often.
White and red – a pretty combination and a lovely lavender(ish) lehenga on the right which is quite different from what we’ve seen on the show up until now.
And we end with a classic black and red combination but it’s mostly the work on the sleeve we’re digging!
We’ve covered so much of Bollywood, but can TV be left behind when it comes to Indian wear?
Saraswatichandra, a show on Star Plus has it’s lead actress, Jennifer Winget wearing delightfully bright and colurful lehengas. They are kept moderate on bling, but high on colours and flares. How could we not post about it?
To start off, here’s a combination that describes aptly whats in store for you. Yummy colours and happiness inducing lehengas.
A lot of yellow is seen in the lehengas. We’re not complaining. PS: See the floral pink blouse? Liking!
And see below a combination that really caught our eye. Pink and grey. Dramatic, yet dainty.
Another colour widely used is pink. And the pairing of pink works well with so many other colours such as blue and green. And they got it spot on!
Fallen in love with these lehengas and colour combinations? Well, this is just the tip of the iceberg you are seeing.
